Biodynamic Touch
2nd segment - SENSATION & PERCEPTION
Sensation and Perception : Enlivening the Realms of Biodynamic Touch
In this course we will revisit the groundwork laid in the previous course and build upon the foundation created.
Refinement of ones ability to tend to the interface within oneself and in relationship with another is continued. New considerations will highlight how ones perception of sensations are influenced by the relational landscape. Opportunity will be provided to investigate and strengthens ones ability to sense and perceive what is presenting during the therapeutic process.
Treatment skills are enhanced by engaging with the movement at stillness that presents at various listening stations in the body (ie: bones, muscles, blood vessels, fascia etc.)
In this practice we cultivate our ability to tend to areas of inertia in the living system to support resolution and freedom of flow of the life force to promote symptom relief.
Foundational skills are enhanced to support the strengthening of the neutral observer who’s role is to witness what is presented moment to moment and in so doing provide resource for life affirming change that transpires during the healing process.
All participants will receive several hours of treatment during this course.
We recommend that participants allow themselves time to integrate in the evening after class and the days that follow the completion of the workshop. Extra quiet time to rest and digest the experience in the days that follow is encouraged.
